The Neath Port Talbot Steelers picked up their second win in as many weeks with an impressive first half performance winning 34-16 at Furnace United RFC.
Jason Keneally began the scoring for the Steelers which was converted by Daniel Bleddyn before Mark Cooke replied for the Sharks keeping the game tight in the opening minutes.

unanswered tries from Ceri Penharwood, Peter Smignalia, Rhodri Milsom and Adam Richards three of which were converted by Bleddyn. This brought the half time score to 28-4.
This effectively ended the game as a contest but the Sharks showed the same resilience that they had earlier in Round 2 when they overturned a similar half time score. They once again won the second half but this time it was a bridge too far to take the win.
Adam Pope opened the scoring in the second half for the Sharks which was converted by Dave Norman. Shortly after Gareth Moore crossed for The Steelers with the extra points added, once again, by Bleddyn. The Sharks had the last score of, what turned out to be, a much tighter second half with Nicky Harris touching down with the extras added Norman bringing the final score to 34-16.
