Bridgend Blue Bulls went back to the top of the Co-operative Welsh Conference Premier after dominating West Wales Sharks 42-4.
The Bulls were always in control and a fourth minute try from Simon Mustoe set the ball rolling. Gareth David converted the first of his five goals to make it 6-0.
Both teams took their time to get used to the slippery conditions due to the heavy rain that had drenched Porthcawl all day and it wasn’t until the 19th minute that the Bulls scored their second when Paul Smithson found a gap in the defence.

A Marc Davies try in the corner on 32 minutes made it 16-0 at half-time but the Sharks were first on the board in the second half after Gareth Howells picked up a loose ball to run 40 metres to the try-line.
However Bridgend regained the ball straight from kick-off and Matthew Morgan punished the Sharks by scoring under the sticks.
Morgan set up the next try laying off to Dan Williams on 52 minutes while David James finished off a good passing move seven minutes later to put the score on 32-4.
From kick-off, Paul Morgan scored the try of the match, weaving through the defence to score under the sticks and Gareth David completed the rout with a try and goal seven minutes from time.
Both sides have home games this Saturday with West Wales Sharks hosting NPT Steelers and Bridgend Blue Bulls taking on Cardiff Demons.
