Welsh champions Bridgend Blue Bulls started their quest for a fifth successive title with a stunning second half performance to beat Torfaen Tigers 54-24
It was a close first period with Bridgend leading just 26-18 at the interval.
Torfaen took the lead on five minutes through a Jason Hill try but former Celtic

Crusader Paul Morgan levelled things minutes later.
A Tylan Mafi score gave Bridgend the lead but two converted tries from Gareth Davies gave Torfaen an 18-10 advantage.
But that was the last time Torfaen would lead. New signing Christian Roets and former Crusader Lenny Woodard both added hat-tricks while Nathan Walters and Tylan Mafi tries rounded things off. John Williams kicked seven goals. Debutants David James and Matthew Morgan both had exceptional games.
Torfaen rounded off the scoring in the final minutes with a Daryl Carter try. Carter added the conversion, his fourth of the afternoon.
