Bridgend lead the inaugural Welsh Conference at the halfway stage after a hard-fought victory at Rumney on Saturday.

By beating their nearest rivals, the Blue Bulls maintained their four-point lead at the top of the table and are in pole position to win the conference - although there is still a long way to go.
