An unconverted try in the corner on the last play of the game by Bulls scrum half Simon Bevan ensured that both sides registered their first points in the RLC in a 15 try thriller.

Swansea took an early lead with two tries in the opening four minutes from full back

Richard Thomas and Bevan but inspired  by hooker Rhodri Morris, and scrum half Gavin Eck, Cougars hit back to trail only 24-18 at the break.

Simon Davis’ late score looked to have given the visitors victory but Bevan’s effort saved the day.
