The Valley Cougars continued their winning ways with an emphatic 62-18 win at Nelson today.
Rob Davies got the Tigers off the mark early with a try that was converted by Daryl Carter but this was the last time the Tigers would cross the line in the half as the Valley Cougars stamped their authority on the game when. Man of the match Paul Emmanuelli crossed the line for the first of his four tries which he subsequently converted and this was quickly followed by a brace from Daf Hallard and another from Emmanuelli. With the conversion again from Emmanuelli the score was 24-6.
