It was one-way traffic in Newport on Saturday as the Titans sealed third place with a crushing 46-0 win over bottom side West Wales Sharks.
A 100-metres sprint champion, Sam McCoy showed his pace throughout the game and led the Titans to victory with four tries and a goal, the first on only two minutes when he scored in the corner.
After McCoy scored his and Titans’ second in exactly the same place, Mark Wheeler got their third after powering in under the

sticks. Lloyd White converted to make the score 14-0.
Barrie Phillips got Titans fourth straight from kick-off, picking the ball up and breaking away from the tackle on the half-way line to go in under the sticks, with White converting again.
And a Tyrone Mahoney score in the corner made it 24-0 at half-time.
Titans increased their lead five minutes into the second half after Vinnie Lott picked the ball up from a bad bounce, offloading to Wheeler who walked under the sticks – White adding the extras once again.
McCoy then got two back to back tries both by running over 60 metres to score under sticks. White converted the first one with McCoy having a go at the second himself and succeeding.
Finally, just before the final whistle, an unconverted Ross Palmer try rounded things off.
